The Ministry of Economy and Finance today issued two new coins from the 2024 Numismatic Collection, minted by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the Guardi di Finanza.

The 2-euro coin, which is also in ordinary circulation in all EU Member States, is the work of the artist engraver Marta Bonifacio, while the silver coin, with a face value of 5 euro, was created by the artist engraver Annalisa Masini.

Both coins recall the history and ideals of the Guardia di Finanza, which has always served the community and Institutions.
