The Ministry of Economy and Finance today issued the third coin in the Numismatic Collection of the Italian Republic 2024, minted by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato. The artwork, created by the artist engraver Claudia Momoni, is dedicated to the anniversary of UNIAMO, the Italian Federation of Rare Diseases, which for 25 years has been working to improve the quality of life and protect the rights of people with rare diseases and their families, and to Rare Disease Day, which this year will be celebrated worldwide on 29 February.

The coin, with a face value of EUR 5, has a mintage of 7,000 pieces and comes in a Brilliant Uncirculated version.
