In connection with the procedures for the divestment of shares of Monte dei Paschi di Siena (MPS), the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance has identified Ubs and Jefferies as financial advisors and Clifford Chance as legal advisors. These entities will assist the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance in identifying the best way to divest the controlling stake in Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena and will provide such support at all stages of the implementation of the transaction.
