On 18 November, the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance issued the coin that concludes the 2023 Numismatic Collection issues, as minted by the Polygraphic Institute and State Mint and paying tribute to the Lazio Region and its gastronomic treasures: Frascati D.O. wine, Amatriciana, Roman-style artichokes and Malvasia Puntinata grapes.

The coin, made of cupronickel and created by artist engraver Marta Bonifacio, has a denomination of EUR 5, and is available in a Special Uncirculated version with a mintage of 10,000 pieces.

You can view the coins in the 2023 Numismatic Collection Catalogue published on the website of the Polygraphic Institute and State Mint.
