Directorate III – Enhancement of Public Assets

Directorate III – Enhancement of Public Assets is divided into specific management offices and performs the following functions:

  1. a) Management of the databases created through the census of the components of the assets belonging to public administrations, including real estate, shareholdings and concessions of state-owned assets and services, and analysis of the information collected;
  2. b) Policies for the rationalisation and enhancement of public assets and coordination with public administrations and companies entrusted with the management of state-owned properties and assets under concession;
  3. c) Enhancement and disposal of state-owned real estate assets, including through the establishment of real estate funds;
  4. d) Analysis, insofar as relevant, of concessions, conventions and service contracts with state-owned enterprises;
  5. e) Relations with European Union institutions and international bodies in the areas falling within its responsibility.

 

For contacts, pending the adoption of measures to define the new Offices, the Department of the Economy will make use of the corresponding Offices and Services of the Department of the Treasury.
