The Department of the Economy registers equity investments in companies and non-corporate bodies held by public administrations.

The information reported by the administrations - exclusively through the Equity Investments application - is made available in open data and is processed by the Department for the preparation of Annual Reports.

In addition, the Department operates the Structure for Addressing, Monitoring and Controlling the Implementation of the Provisions of Legislative Decree No. 175 of 19 August 2016 containing the 'Consolidation Act on Publicly Owned Companies' (Tusp).
