The competences of the Department of the Economy include: the analysis, management, and development of the ShareHoldings held by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the exercise of the rights of the shareholder, in compliance with the provisions of the regulations in force and, in particular, of Legislative Decree No. 175 of 19 August 2016, the management of the processes of corporatisation, privatisation and divestment, as well as support for the processes of business development of the state-owned companies.
