The Ministry of Economy and Finance today released a coin, minted by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato, to commemorate Coldiretti's 80th anniversary and honour its fundamental contribution to the advancement of national agriculture and the protection of the interests of Italian farmers.

This is the first coin with a value of 4 euros ever made in Italy.

The coin, in proof silver with a nominal value of 4 euros and a limited edition of 3,500 pieces, is the work of the Zecca dello Stato engraver, Emanuele Ferretti.

You can view the coins in the Numismatic Collection Catalogue 2024 published on the website of the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato, where other issues planned for the year are listed.
